Body Piercing
Body art is not new. For thousands of years the art of body modification via piercings has been practiced as an expression of many things; religious ritual, royal identification, virility symbolism and Rites of Passage. Today's body art renaissance sees the ancient and tribal practices revived for the purpose of self-expression. Nurtured by fashion gurus, rebels and artists alike in the underground in recent years, the movement of body adornment has finally captured the imagination of the entire globe, closing the gap between ancient and modern and from downtown to upper chic.
Making it a comfortable experience if you are nervous, is what our team excels at. Some procedures can be painful, but it passes very quickly. We guide you though breathing exercises to help you relax during the procedure.
All clients must sign a disclaimer form. This enables the piercer to establish your medical history, particularly any infectious skin diseases or communicable diseases you may have. Remember to tell the body piercer about the style or type of piercing you are interested in. Body art is sometimes noticeable and may hurt your chances of getting some jobs. Your piercer will direct you in correct jewellery selection and you will be guided though the procedure and given full aftercare instructions and an aftercare pack to take home with you.
We only use 316L Grade Surgical Grade Stainless Steel jewellery for all piercings. All our body jewellery and piercing jewellery is sterilized in a unit called an Autoclave. This destroys all living bugs, germs and viruses and removes them from the medical instruments for safe and effective piercing. All needles are single use and are immediately disposed of into a sharps container and are freshly opened in front of you to maintain health and hygiene.
